  Kaykay Chauhan is the musical genius behind KAYKAY & CO. Like most young Asian's in the UK, he's passionate about his Indian roots but is equally proud of his British heritage. This unique cultural crossover is what makes KAYKAY & CO totally unique. From Classical ragas to Jazz chord progressions, Kaykay Chauhan’s musical knowledge and experience encompasses a wide array of influences. He is a multi talented pianist with a passion for innovating and creating new sounds and music styles. Spanning a career of over 30 years, he has performed across the globe with artistes like Asha Bhosle, Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, Amit Kumar, Richa Sharma, Jaspinder Narula, Ankit Tiwari, Sudha Malhotra, Attah Ullah Khan, Babul Supriyo, Mohd. Irfan, Anup Jalota, Talvin Singh, Channi Alaap, Shin DCS, Mangal Singh, and Kumar Sanu. He composed and produced Kumar Sanu’s recent album “Amor” which had a worldwide release in 2014 and received critical acclaim. As a musician from the current and relevant Western world, Kaykay has played an integral role in the movement of fusion in today’s live music scene, unifying genres to create his unique sound. His recent collaborative project “Bollywood Jackson” has been celebrated across the UK’s live music scene. Kaykay was honoured at the House Of Commons by Lord Popat for his role in creating a newer live sound for the new generation of British Asians. A Musician, a Producer and a Teacher, Kaykay has evolved as an artist and simply loves what he does. 

Kaykay & Co. are a British Asian Fusion band led by British born composer, producer, director & keyboardist Kaykay Chauhan that perform regularly on the Asian music circuit around the United Kingdom. Kaykay & Co. have a unique sound in that they create a fusion style of music that can appeal to all generations. Covering classic Bollywood to Western pop styles, they can perform other genres such as Bhajans, Raas Garba, Qawwali, Ghazals and more. Kaykay & Co. regularly work with vocalists Shahid Abbas Khan, Rekha, Parry Mad & Anj Chauhan (All part of the "Bend It Like Beckham - The Musical" in the West End along with guest vocalists Abira Shah, Nimesh Sanghoi, Chirag Rao, Ketan Kansara, Shyam Panchmatia, Utkarsh Dave, Drupti Vaja, Dev Joshi & Pritee Varsani. 

Kaykay & Co. have also performed at theatres where they performed their critically acclaimed "Bollywood Jackson" show on various occasions. Kaykay & Co. also released the viral "Rahmanisce" video in 2015. The "Retro Magic" show in 2019 at The Beck Theatre was considered to be a one of kind Live Bollywood music shows there had ever been. During the 2020 pandemic, Kaykay & Co. have performed a series of concerts online including "Virtual Velocity" and the creative "Retrospective". 

  Starting out, the idea of a fusion band was the last thing on our minds. After we did all the local gigs with mostly Bollywood hits, we realised the only way for us to evolve as a band was to create a new sound.  The Band is essentially a fusion of Indian Pop  & Western sounds.  Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the years we've grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up cultural influences. 

Kaykay & Co. have a glamorous outlook and a ‘witty’ entertaining presence and have performed for various Dinner & dances, Charity events, Mehfils, Sangeet nights, Civil weddings, Receptions, Engagement parties, Baby showers, Birthday parties & anniversaries & wakes. Kaykay & Co. have also worked internationally as a wedding band for destination weddings as well as all over the UK.
